New Town, Bhadravathi, June 25, 2019: The Shimoga Multipurpose Social Service Society organized a training on strengthening of Federations at New Town, Bhadravathi on 25 June 2019 for representatives of 3 Streebandhu Federations. Rev. Fr Clifford Roshan Pinto, the Director of SMSSS spoke about the purpose and benefits of women joining self help groups and enlightened them on how members of self help groups could contribute to the growth of the society.
Mr Jagadeesha K. H., the Coordinator explained in detail the positives of a strong federation and through various examples made the participants understand that it is only through a strengthened federation members could make a difference in the society. There were 48 representatives Karehalli Federation, New Town Federation and Bommanakatte Federation. Mrs. Pramila, the Coordinator for the area and Mrs. Parimala and Mrs Nirmala the animators for the area organized the training.
