Mumbaru, Hosanagar, June 25, 2019: Raithabandhu Federation, Mumbaru, Hosanagar Taluk along with the Government School teachers, children and Mumbaru Gram Panchayat president and members celebrated environment day on 25 June 2019 by planting 50 mango seedlings and 50 sampige/champak flower plants in the school premises. The president of Mumbaru Grama Panchayat, Mr Manjappa appreciated the work of the Shimoga Multipurpose Social Service Society and called upon everyone to join hands and become agents of change.
PDO of Mumbaru Grama Panchayat, Mr Shanthappa appreciated and thanked the officials of Forest Department for providing 50 fruits plants and 50 flower plants and said the SMSSS has organized this programme with a special intention. Let us all support the good cause.
