KROSS, Bangalore, July 16, 2019: Capacity building training cum Review and Planning Meeting for the Women Empowerment Programme field staff of the project entitled "Empowerment of Socio-Economically Poor and Disadvantaged Women in Karnataka” with Project No. 321-908-1077 ZG, supported by Misereor, Germany is in progress at Karnataka Regional Organization for Social Service. The day's programme began with prayer and words of welcome at 10.00 am. The staff from all the 14 DSSS are participating in the training cum planning meeting. Reports on Networking, Advocacy and Lobbying were presented and discussed. How to identify and take up social issues for advocacy and lobbying and how to establish a proper network between the centre, people and government departments was highlighted during the presentation and discussion. The training cum review and planning meeting will conclude on 18 July 2019.
