Al Meets the Classroom: SMSSS & MCES organises training for teachers
The Shimoga Multipurpose Social Service Society has taken a forward-thinking approach to revolutionizing classroom teaching with a pioneering workshop on Artificial Intelligence (AI). Held on January 11, 2025, at Sacred Heart PU College, Shimoga, the event saw enthusiastic participation from 50 principals, institutional heads, technical staff, and teachers. The workshop was organized by the Shimoga Multipurpose Social Service Society (SMSSS) and Mount Carmel Education Society (MCES), with collaboration from Canara Communication Centre, Mangalore, and Al Lumina.
The workshop featured sessions by distinguished Al experts Fr. Anil Ivan Fernandes and Mr. Leo Victor Zalki, who provided practical insights and tools for educators. The topics covered included adaptive learning, ethical Al usage, data-driven teaching strategies, and more.
