Shobha from Shanthinagar

Previous situation

Shobha is from a very poor economic background. She is a house wife. She is living with her husband Subramani and two children in a rented house. Along with her husband goes for the daily wage work but the income was very less and this daily wage work was irregular and the meager income does not allow them to do lead life and give good education to her children. At this point animators and coordinator intervened the family discussed this matter with director and finally Organizations sees their need and selected her for the beautician course.

Situation after our intervention After the selection Shobha attended the Beautician training for Six months. Mean while she also received EAP and EDP training which gave her obvious plan about with beautician work. Soon after the course she set up beauty parlour in her own house and gets good profit of Rs. 5000/- per month. Now she is very confident in her work and this in turn helped her to live dignified life and give best education to her children.

Impact on the familyThe FVTRS and SMSSS organization have helped the family in a way that Shobha says that they have shown new path to progress in her life. Not only through training when but also helps the family to grow in all other ways possible in the society. She has a regular savings in her account and she is a member of self help group She active member in SHGs, Federation and all other activities. The kind act of SMSSS and FVTRS changed her life towards development
