Anthony Clinton
Anthony Clinton is born on 20 July 1993. His father Mr. T. Lazar worked a technician. The mother, Sherly, is a housewife. The family lived in a rented house.
Anthony Clinton, from his childhood was very curious to learn things. All his school teachers had much love for him and always encouraged his talents. Attracted by the boy’s talents and recognizing the family condition, his profiles were sent for sponsorship, when he was just promoted to fourth grade.
Throughout the years, Anthony Clinton enjoyed all the benefits of sponsorship and was able to gain lots of new knowledge, information on many matters useful for his future and also opportunities to be active in meetings and camps. He was very glad that he developed public speaking abilities for which he is very grateful to CSP. He participated in debates, cultural activities and sports. He bagged many prizes for mime competition, mono acting, state level drama competition and Inter-College football competition. He was honored with ‘the Outstanding Parliamentarian Award’ at youth parliament organized by Rotary Club. He won the best Teacher Award from Tata Class Edge Company, the best Organizer Award by various school levels.
Anthony Clinton progressed well and brought joy and made proud to all. After successfully completing second-year Pre University Course in May 2011, he joined to the three-year Bachelor of Science degree course at the Sahyadri College of Shimoga. In December 2014, he successfully finished this degree course by scoring first class marks. As his ambition was to become a College Lecturer, he chose to study the two-year Bachelor of Education course. In between he also underwent a short term advanced computer course. In May 2018, after completing the Bachelor of Education, he decided to take up the post graduate degree course for Master of Science with Mathematics as his major subject. He was again successful in his studies and in May 2020 concluded his education by passing all the exams of Master of Science course. With this Anthony Clinton had passed the milestone of Education and was looking forward to begin his career as lecturer.
He was very fortunate to find a job as Teacher on temporary basis at the Jnanasagara International Public School, Hassan and began his career. Since he began to earn his living and support his parents together with his brother, the family situation too has improved and they could own a small house where the parents could relax well from all their liabilities.
Anthony Clinton maintained regular correspondence with his sponsors throughout the years and promptly reported on all his achievements to them. He was also much encouraged by all his sponsors who were very glad over all his success. Anthony remains ever grateful to each one who helped him to come up in life. On 15 August 2020, Anthony Clinton exited from the Child Sponsorship Programme as a successful beneficiary.
