Dr. Mishal Neeth Rodrigues from Cathedral Parish, Shivamogga, is a dedicated and passionate medical professional who has successfully advanced her career through perseverance and timely support. After completing her MBBS, she chose to specialize in MD Orthopaedics, a demanding field that requires both commitment and extensive training. She pursued her postgraduate studies at Shyamanuru Shivashankarappa Institute of Medical Sciences, Davanagere, from 2022 to 2025.

Dr. Mishal comes from a modest family background. Her father, Mr. Joseph Rodrigues, and mother, Mrs. L. Merlyn Rodrigues, are both retired from private service, and the family depended on limited resources to manage their daily needs. Though her elder sister, Meliza Rodrigues, is working in a corporate office in Bangalore after completing her MSc and B.Ed, supporting higher medical education remained a financial challenge for the family.

Understanding her dedication and the financial constraints faced by her family, Dr. Mishal was supported through the Financial Support Programme for Economically Poor Students. She received a scholarship (first installment in 2024), which played a crucial role in helping her continue and complete her postgraduate medical studies without financial burden.

This support became a strong pillar in her academic journey. It allowed her to concentrate fully on her rigorous training and clinical responsibilities without the constant worry of arranging funds. The scholarship not only supported her education but also strengthened her confidence to pursue excellence in her field.

Today, Dr. Mishal Neeth Rodrigues has successfully completed her MD in Orthopaedics and is currently serving as an Orthopaedic Doctor in the same hospital where she studied. She is committed to treating patients with care and dedication, contributing her skills to improve the health and well-being of society.
