Balaraj

Balaraj is the eldest child to the family of Jayasheelan and Sagaya Kumari. Jayasheelan demised when Balaraj was still a little child. His younger brother Angel Raj was an infant at the time. Sagaya Kumari did not have anything to carry on with her family nor anybody to help her out after her husband's death. She went for day wage works and kept the family moving. Her only aim was to offer good education to her two sons and a better life.Balaraj was active and hardworking, even as a small boy and showed more interest towards education, which was noticed by his teachers. He was recommended for Sponsorship Programme when he was attending UKG classes in school. In the year 2002, the warm hearted Mrs. Cermakova Kristina and her family members from Czech Republic accepted him and remained as his sponsors until he left the programme in September 2019 after attaining higher education and successful carrier. He completed the studies of Master of Science (Mathematics) in May 2019 and soon after that was offered a job as Assistant Business Processing Officer by the DXC Technologies in Shimoga. His brother Angel Raj too was able to complete the Bachelor of Computer Applications degree successfully. Balaraj is a happy person now and remains grateful to his sponsor parent and her family for providing him a very bright future through the Sponsorship Programme and fulfill the dream of his mother
