Mallapura, Shimoga, July 25, 2019: The Shimoga Multipurpose Social Service Society in collaboration with the Forest Department, Ayanur Range and NCD unit Shimoga organized a Heath Camp and celebrated Environment Day at Mallapura, Shimoga Taluk on 25 July 2019. The event was organized in the house of Mrs Gangamma, the president of the Streebandhu Federation, Mallapura. Rev. Fr Clifford Roshan Pinto, the Director of SMSSS inaugurated the programme.
Mrs Sowmya Bhojanaik, member of ZP, Mrs Indramma and Mrs Sujatha, members of the Gram Panchayat, Mr Sriguruswamy and Mr Nagaraja Naik, staff of the Forest Department, Ayanur Range, Patanjali Yoga & Prakruthi Samsthe, Shimoga Secretary Mr Nagaraj J and elders of the village were present for the programme. Staff from NCD unit checked the Blood Pressure and Blood Sugar Level of 111 persons from the village. Mrs Latha, the animator for the area along with Mr Jagadeesha, the coordinator for the area and Mrs Kavitha the animator organized the programme. Mrs Gangamma, the president of the Streebandhu Federation, Mallapura presided over the programme.
