Orientation Programme to the Disha Cap Volunteers.

Shimoga, Sep 3 : A days orientation programme was organized for the volunteers of Disha Cap on 20th of August 2012 at SMSSS, Chaitnya. Rev Bishop Fr Dr Jerald Isaac Lobo the chief guest of the progrmme addressed the gathering by putting forward the vision for the whole diocese of Shimoga through Disha and stressed the need of cooperation by the volunteers in carrying out this vision throughout the diocese.

Mr Johnson the KAS Labour officer of Udupi gave the key note address. Fr Veeresh Moras the director of SMSSS explained the role of Disha in directing and forming the young minds of Diocese. Mr Francis Dcunna the resource person of the programme, enlightened the gathering with input session on how to prepare for civil exams. The programme was concluded by planning out the activities for this academic year under the guidance of Br Santhosh sj. There were 18 volunteers representing different parishes of the Diocese.
