Shimoga, June 21, 2021: During the lockdown imposed to control the spread of Covid-19, the Shimoga Multipurpose Social Service Society responded to the present critical situation of the pandemic in a unique way. The special concern shown towards the police who worked tirelessly to make people follow the Covid-19 guidelines strictly was appreciated by one and all. The organization supported the police personnel in a unique way by supplying Tea/Coffee and snacks in the morning and evening to about 200 police each for 20 days starting from 01 June 2021. The police on duty were extremely grateful to SMSSS for this noble gesture. The organization also provided Veg/ Non-Veg meals in the afternoon on three consecutive Sundays to all the policemen on duty.
