Bhadravathi, Old Town, June 05, 2019: An awareness was given on the available Government Schemes to 27 members of 2 self help groups from Old Town Bhadravathi area on 05 June 2019 by Br Vinuth. It is not just enough to submit the application for government schemes but a proper follow up is needed. When there is no response from the concerned department a follow up through RTI is the best possible solution.
The members were also given training on rain water harvesting. In the present situation when the rainfall is less and water shortage is a major problem all should think about the posibility of harvesting the rain water and reduce the problem of water scarcity. The Coordinator for the area Mrs Pramila and the animator for the area Mrs Parimala organized the training.
