Shimoga, June 26, 2019: The leaders of the Streebandhu Federation, New Mandli submitted an appeal to the District Commissioner's Office requesting the local administration to advice the KSRTC officials to provide bus stops for New Mandli, Old Mandli, Paper Factory Wards in the city. The members observed that several KSRTC and city service buses are flying on that route but no stops are given. People have to walk long distances to catch buses. 36 representatives from the federation also noted that lot of inconvenience is caused to women and children during rainy season because the city service buses and KSRTC buses do not stop in the wards mentioned above and urged the authorities to consider the appeal positively. Mr Jagadeesha, the Coordinator for the area, Mrs Malini, the animator for the area, Mrs M. Savitha the animator from SMSSS were present.
