Nyamati, June 17, 2019: A self employment awareness training was given to 26 women of local Self Help Groups of Nyamati, Davanagere District by Mrs. Lilly Lopes, the animator from SMSSS. The women were made to know what could be the different possibilities to start self employment and have regular income for the family. The members were made to reflect on 5 important aspects: (1) Knowledge of the employment; (2) Skill; (3) Attitude; (4) Market and (5) Capital/Investment.
She also elaborated on the qualities of a successful businessman. The participants were given input on how to prepare an action plan and successfully implement the same. The do's and don'ts have to be strictly followed when one wants to be successful in life. The training has inspired a few participants to take a step forward and start self employment to have regular income for the family.
